Bridging Conversations A Dialogue: Youth, Mental Health & Law Enforment May 2, 2023
In acknowledgment of Mental Health Awareness Month, please join the Winston-Salem Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and a panel of experienced professionals to continue our conversation on the intersection of mental health and law enforcement with a specific focus on our youth. We will generally explore how mental health impacts young people, the resources available to them in the WSFCS system and the Forsyth County community at large. Additionally, we will discuss how law enforcement is equipped to interact with our youth particularly those in mental health crisis.
